![]() ![]() ![]() Regardless of whether it is proven or not, I added this post to the Ideas and Suggestions subforum to see if I can get a response from the Dev's: The short (bottom) vegetation eventually made its way back onto the FF giving more credence to the possibility that this unit rotates. The bottom contour stabilized but the contours of vegetation continued to rise and fall as if the FF is rotating 360 degrees. Normally I will see very short or no vegetation at all on the bottom of deep holes as you near shore the vegetation will get higher. I just checked it again this morning I drove to the edge of a drop-off on the map and dropped anchor as soon as I saw the bottom coming up. The contours constantly changes when boat is standing still and I am also confused by it. That rowing to pike alley was a grind, but it was better then no Kayak at all.I'm in Russia right now, and the bottom contours and vegetation definitely change as if the unit rotates. In the US, Michigan would be the only lake that would be nice to get to the pier heads or Pike alley using a boat. The game would change to boat racing and not fishing. It reminds me of Caddy Shack and the yacht on the little lake. I can't imagine what New York would be like. I am at Alberta and if 5 guys are open throttle, 35+, it would destroy the setting. The other suggestion might be to control the speed of the boat depending on the lake. I would like to see the ability to buy your own sonar and put on the kayak. If they could make the screen or the font bigger, would be helpful. The only minor suggestion, is that it is hard to read the feet and water temp. Your able to change from float to bottom rod, depending on the fish location. The sonar marks size of fish and the water level. The days when the kayak was big news, was not that long ago (8 mo?).Īnyways, I found the sonar to be a big plus. ![]()
